Carlos Lozano López: (Barítono) Nace en Cuenca, comenzando sus estudios de Música en el Conservatorio de su ciudad natal. Titulado inicialmente como Profesor Superior de Guitarra, posteriormente obtiene la titulación de Profesor de Canto obteniendo las más altas calificaciones y premio fin de carrera, con los profesores Carmen de Lucas y José Miguel Moreno-Sabio. Como guitarrista ha ofrecido conciertos, tanto en calidad de solista como en calidad de miembro de agrupaciones camerísticas, dentro del programa cultural “Talía” que promueve y patrocina la Excma. Diputación Provincial de Cuenca. Regularmente participa en encuentros y cursos de Musicología organizados por las más prestigiosas instituciones educativas y culturales españolas. Actualmente ha perfeccionado sus estudios en Alemania con la Soprano Jane Casselman, en Salzburgo con Grace Bumbry, y en Valencia con Ana Luisa Chova.
Ha asistido a cursos de interpretación y técnica vocal con Pedro Lavirgen, Marimí del Pozo, Rose Marie Meister, Jorge Fresno, Denis Hall, Helena Lazarska, y Teresa Berganza. Ha ganado el primer premio, así como el premio especial del público del Concurso de Interpretación musical del Conservatorio de Cuenca. En 2005 ha ganado el tercer premio del Concurso Internacional de Canto “Luis Mariano” de Irún.
Ha debutado en una producción de Otello de G. Verdi, en el Teatro Real de Madrid junto a Renato Brusón y José Cura. En dicho Teatro participa en las siguientes producciones: Der Rosenkavalier de R. Strauss, bajo la dirección del maestro García Navarro; Mordred, en “Merlín” de Albéniz bajo la dirección de José de Eusebio; Yakuside en “Madama Butterfly” de Puccini, y “Macbeth” de G. Verdi. En 2005 y 2006 como Figaro en una producción para jóvenes de”Il Barbiere di Siviglia” de G. Rossini y Marcello de “La Boheme” en el Teatro Real de Madrid, Conciertos de ópera y Zarzuela, Los “Carmina Burana” de Carl Orff y la Misa de la Coronación de Mozart, en Granada (en el Auditorio Manuel de Falla), Berlín y Brandenburg.
Ha cantado bajo la dirección de Directores como Frübeck de Burgos, Antoni Ros Marbá, García Navarro, Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez, Krzysztof Penderecki, Christopher Hogwood, Jesús López Cobos, etc… También ha interpretado Música Contemporánea, cantando en el Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid y en el Festival “Música de hoy” promovido y organizado por el Proyecto Guerrero, un concierto monográfico del Compositor George Crumb, interviniendo como barítono solista y bajo la dirección de José de Eusebio., así como en el ciclo de música contemporánea “Analogías Musicales” en un concierto celebrado en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza de Madrid dedicado a Kandinsky y sus contemporáneos.
Entre su repertorio se encuentran los roles de Il Conte de “Le nozze di Figaro”, Guglielmo de “Così fan tutte”, Publio de “La Clemenza” di Titto de W.A.Mozart. Don Giovanni de “Don Giovanni” de W. A. Mozart El Poeta de “Il turco in Italia”, rol que interpretó en Palma de Mallorca con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Palma, Figaro de “El Barbero di Siviglia”, Dandini de “La Cenerentola”, Taddeo de “L’Italiana in Algeri” de G. Rossini, el Doctor Malatesta de “Don Pascuale” de G. Donizetti, Valentin de “Faust” de Ch. Gounod, Rodrigo de “Don Carlo” de G. Verdi.

He has attended courses on Performing and vocal technique with Pedro Lavirgen, Marimí del Pozo, Rose Marie Meister, Jorge Fresno, Denis Hall, Helena Lazarska and Teresa Berganza. He has received the first prize and the Audience Special Prize at the Contest of Musical Performance of the Conservatory in Cuenca. In 2005 he got the third prize at the International Singing Contest “Luis Mariano” of Irún.
He made his debut in a production of “Otello” by G. Verdi, at the Teatro Real in Madrid, together with Renato Brusón and José Cura.

He has also sung contemporary music, at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, and in the Festival “Música de Hoy” (Today’s Music), promoted and organized by the Project Guerrero, a monographic concert on the composer George Crumb, taking part as a baritone soloist and conducted by José de Eusebio. Besides, he has sung in the season of contemporary music “Analogías Musicales”, in a concert performed at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, devoted to Kandinsky and his contemporaries.
Among his repertoire we can find the roles of Il Conte in ”Le nozze di Figaro”, Gugliemo in “Così fan tutte”, Publio in “La Clemenza” di Titto by W.A Mozart, Don Giovanni in “Don Giovanni” by W.A. Mozart, the Poet in “Il turco in Italia”- performed in Palma de Mallorca with the Symphonic Orchestra of Palma-, Figaro in “El Barbero di Siviglia”, Dandini in “La Cenerentola”, Taddeo in “L’Italiana in Algeri”, by G. Rossini, doctor Malatesta in “Don Pascuale”by G. Donizetti, Valentin in “Faust” by Ch. Gounod, Rodrigo in “Don Carlo” by G. Verdi.
He has been educated in the choral repertoire at the Coro del Teatro Real in Madrid, of which he has been a member for ten years. This experience has proved a solid background to work as a conductor of choral groups, both of mixed voices and children’s.
At the end of 2009 he created the “Orfeón Ciudad de Cuenca”, to prepare the performance of the “Carmina Burana” by C. Orff which was sung at the Auditorio in Cuenca on June 2010, and at the Plaza Mayor of the city on August 2010, performance which had an audience of nearly five thousand people. From this experience he has created the choirs “Ciudad de Cuenca”, formed by a children’s choir “Escolanía Ciudad de Cuenca”, a chamber choir “Schola Cantorum Ciudad de Cuenca” and the large choir “Orfeón Ciudad de Cuenca”, all of them conducted and vocally trained by him at the moment.
Carlos Lozano Lòpez (Bariton): In Cuenca (Spanien) geboren, beginnt er seine musikalische Ausbildung am Konservatorium seiner Heimatstadt. Nachdem er den Abschluss als Gitarrelehrer an der Musikhochschule erhält, macht er den Abschluss als Gesanglehrer. Als Gitarrist hat er Konzerte gegeben, sowohl als Solist als auch als Mitglied von Kammermusik-Ensembles innerhalb des Kulturprogramms Talía, das von der provinziellen Diputation (Excma. Diputación Provincial) gefördert und gesponsort wird. Auch nimmt er regelmäßig an Treffen und Kursen über Musikologie statt, von den namhaftesten spanischen Ausbildungs- und Kultureinrichtungen organisiert. In Gesang und Repertoire wird er von der Professorin Carmen de Lucas und von dem Professor José Miguel Moreno Sabio unterrichtet, wobei er die besten Noten und den Preis zum Studienabschluss bekommt.

Anfang 2005 wird er die Rolle des Figaro spielen in einer Produktion für junge Sänger von Il Barbiere di Siviglia von G. Rossini am Teatro Real de Madrid.
Außerdem hat er zeitgenössische Musik interpretiert im Auditorio Nacional de Música (Nationaler Konzertsaal Madrid) und bei den Festspielen Música de hoy (Musik von heute), vom Proyecto Guerrero (Guerrero Projekt) gefördert und veranstaltet; er hat als Solist in einem Konzert über den Komponisten George Crumb teilgenommen, unter Leitung von José de Eusebio sowie an dem Zyklus zeitgenössischer Musik Analogías Musicales (musikalische Analogien), ein Konzert, das im Madrider Thyssen-Museum stattfand und Kandinsky und seinen Zeitgenossen gewidmet war.
